History The UACH was founded by decree of the State Capitol on 8 December 1954. Initially it had the schools of Medicine, Law, Physical Education and Pharmacy. In 1956 he founded the school of Livestock which then become the Faculty of Animal Husbandry. In 1958 he created the School of Accounting and Administration, then Faculty of Accountancy and Business Administration. In 1963 he founded the School of Philosophy, Literature and Journalism which changed its name to Faculty of Arts. In 1967 he founded the School of Agronomy, would become the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry. Born in 1968 the School of Public Administration and Political Science, transformed Faculty of Political and Social Sciences few years later. In 1974 he began his career grower Engineering within the School of Chemical, which in 1985 becomes the School of Chemical Sciences.
