The classical art and classical culture, or Classical greek ancient Civilization, are names that designate the intellectual output of Antigo age or classical Greco-Roman (Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome, although several, strongly identified with one art prints another). Its arts and culture in the Renaissance were considered classical, ie, worthy of imitation (mimesis), as everything that is classicus (in latin: belonging to a class, particularly with respect to a higher class than the other), or which should be taken as a model of superior quality.
